COURSE DESCRIPTION

Digital service providers operate the cloud platforms, SaaS applications, managed services, and online platforms that organizations depend on every day. They store and process data for multiple customers simultaneously, expose web applications, APIs, and developer portals to the internet, and are responsible for maintaining high service availability through contractual SLAs. As a result, a single compromised password, leaked API key, or infected device can lead to service outages, multi-tenant data breaches, financial losses, regulatory penalties, and significant reputational damage.

This introductory course builds cybersecurity awareness for all employees of digital service providers, from sales, administrative, and finance teams to customer support, developers, operations teams, and leadership. No technical background is required. Through real-world SaaS, cloud, and managed service scenarios, participants will learn how cyberattacks begin, how everyday security practices reduce risk, and why NIS2, GDPR, and customer requirements such as SOC 2 make cybersecurity everyone's responsibility.

The course was developed by the CISO Edu team, the cybersecurity training platform of Advanced Vision IT. The company has 15 years of industry experience, is certified to ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 20000-1 standards, and is an AWS Cloud Certified Partner with certifications from leading cybersecurity vendors, including Sophos, Acronis, and other industry-leading technology providers. The content has been created by specialists who work daily with NIS2 compliance, industrial control systems (ICS), and critical infrastructure environments.
